The Hole in the Sky

Yena has grown up in the harsh conditions of Camp Kokupalule, a labor camp on the planet Tarinoe. When a stranger crashes through the metal dome that is the sky, a rebellion brews. Yena rejects the idea of insurrection because she's afraid, but when the Tarin overseers threaten to take her sister from her, Yena might not have a choice if she wants to save those she loves the most.
 

The love of Funok's life is dying, and the only way he can save her is to take her to Earth. However, he has to convince the government to start another attack on the blue planet before he can safely take her there. With the rebellion underway, Funok's credibility with the Tarin government twindles. If he isn't able to stop the rebels, his wife will die.
